When reading the articles, there were many points that I could agree with. For example, in "College Degrees More Expensive, Worth Less in Job Market" it stated that employment rates for college grads is at an all time high and it is no secret that having a college degree is worth less value these days. I completely agree with that statement because it is something that has been evident in my own personal life. Not that long ago, teachers were able to graduate with just a degree in elementary education and be able to get a job. Now, it is almost impossible to that. Being an Early Childhood Education major, I know that if I don't do something to stand out among my colleagues, I will never get hired. I need to be certified in Special Ed, and have a concentration in something else. It is way more difficult these days to get hired with just a normal degree than it was years ago. Therefore, I agree with the articles saying that college degrees are of less value now a days.
